New Camera

For Christmas my husband got me a shiny new Nikon camera...it arrived Monday around 1:30 via the UPS man. By 3:30, I was outside testing it out on my kiddos.

Here are its first images. I still have a lot to learn about it, but I am already completely in love!

Smash Cake!

What is more exciting about a first birthday than the cake? I love how most babies don't dive right in like we'd like for them to. I love how they pick at it and touch the cake like its isn't a fabulous dessert packed full of sugar and goodness! And of course, when you have a birthday around the holidays...its also important to get some pictures in your most awesome Christmas outfit too!

The Price Family

I couldn't wait to photograph these kiddos when they came to visit us on their way out of town for Thanksgiving. Something about her curls and big beautiful eyes, and his adorable smile and giggle captivates me. Plus, I love these little guys and have known them their whole lives. My own Callie said she wishes little boy Price was her brother....there is that much love between them :-)

Kelly Family

Oh, the sweet Kelly Family...such a joy to chase around and bribe with food :-) These precious little ones are so full of life and young spunk. I wish I had half of their energy!

And I can't leave out their amazing patient parents. You inspire me Kelly mama and daddy! Enjoy your pictures!

Mahannah Sneaks

What better thing to do when Grandma and Grandpa come to town than to go get some pictures taken? It was so fun to photograph one of my favorite families with their sweet grandparents.
