Douglas Family Sneaks
I had a great time on a chilly Sunday afternoon with one of my favorite families - the Douglas family. From muddy tights and stepping in dog poop, to peeing in the woods (not me thank goodness) and quivering lips, this session was a bit of a struggle...and a blast. I am still very pleased with the end results nonetheless. I hope you love these, Douglas family!

Nathan
One of the main reasons I wanted to learn to be a photographer was so I could take great pictures of my own kids. Its something I've wanted to do for a long time now.
And finally, I am seeing that dream come true.
This week, my youngest little man turned 6 months old. To document the occasion, I took him outside for some photographs. Too bad it was freezing, and we quickly had to come back inside.
It then became my first ever shot at indoor photography. I think it turned out well for a first attempt :-)

Crosby Sneak
Okay, so I might have had TOO much fun with this beautiful family. But, when you put together a gorgeous mom with her equally spectacular kindergarden cutie, things can't help but to be great.
Plus, the stars aligned, the winds died down, gentle clouds rolled in, the fake smiles rolled out, and the laughter was bountiful. It was PERFECT. And I couldn't be happier with the results. Hence my choice to put up way more pictures than normal. I just couldn't narrow my favorites down :-)

Hilton Family
Photographing two 5th grade children (and their parents) may just be the simplest thing ever! They were so cooperative and sweet spirited... And dressed in their Christmas best, they looked awesome too! Thanks, Hilton family, for allowing me to capture these images on such a chilly evening. You guys were wonderful!

Three Years Old!
My own little man is turning three this weekend. To celebrate, I decided to take him outside today to go on a "hike." He thought we were collecting leaves. I chose to capture memories instead :-)

Amanda Sneaks
This family is very near and dear to my heart...my children call her "Ms. Amanda," but I think she is way more than that. To me, she is a gift from my heavenly Father. She brings my family baked goods. She babysits. She makes crafts with my daughter. She prays for me and my family. She checks in. She's everything a friend should be. It was an honor to photograph her beautiful family...

My Monkey and Super Woman
We tried to go to a Fall Festival this evening on Ft. Belvoir. Apparently, so did the rest of the families living on Ft. Belvoir - the place was packed! After standing in a few very long lines, I decided enough is enough and I took my little costumed kids away to take some pictures. I must say, I love my little monkey. And my super woman will one day save the world!
Watts Family Sneak
This is for you, Watts family! I really enjoyed being able to photograph you guys on such a crazy windy evening. You all are GREAT sports! And you're a great looking bunch :-)
